On Monday 19 May 2025, Ajaccio Napoléon Bonaparte airport was delighted to welcome the Aéro Biodiversité association for the second time this season.
Organised in partnership with Air Corsica, the event was attended by Lionel Guérin, Chairman of the association, and Hélène Abraham, its Director.
Several local media were also on hand to cover this special event.

This three-way partnership, established since 2016 between Air Corsica, the CCI de Corse and Aéro Biodiversité, was once again honoured. It has enabled several key actions to be highlighted, such as:
- Raising awareness of the need to preserve airport grasslands among its members,
- recommendations addressed to the CCI to continuously optimise the ecological management of natural areas on island platforms,
- technical advice on mowing, reconciling safety in the air with respect for local biodiversity.
Finally, the commitment of Corsican airports to the Aéro Biodiversité certification programme was highlighted, proof of their involvement in the conservation, protection and enhancement of the biodiversity of their territories.
