The «Aerobiodiversity» season comes to an end...

On 8 and 9 September, we brought the 2025 season to a close with the Aéro Biodiversité association, with some great field trips and nature observation.
We welcomed the Corsican DREAL to discuss the Corsican Helix (snail) and the pollinator plan, to which the airport could soon contribute.
These are always rewarding encounters, which strengthen our partnerships and our commitment to biodiversity!

The final day with the association's naturalists, Sabrina and Quentin, was an opportunity to take stock of the past year, while also looking ahead to 2026 and the future projects we will be building together.

Ajaccio Napoléon Bonaparte airport and Air Corsica have been members of the Aéro Biodiversité association since 2016, which works to observe and study the ecosystems of partner airports.

Since the beginning of our partnership, nearly 270 species of flora have been observed, as well as 300 species of insects and 90 species of birds.
This commitment to biodiversity has been recognised, with our airport being awarded the Aerobio level 1 label in 2023.
